I hold “workshops” on pianos and piano tuning wherever asked to do so, but also each of my owner service calls also includes an owner workshop about tuning and maintenance of their piano — information and instructions given to whatever length and extent they wish, lasting from a few minutes to an hour.
I provide these workshops because the more an owner knows about their piano, the better care they will take of it, and the more they will enjoy using it, and — very important — the more likely they will be to read my book [this website] “Piano Tuning Phoenix” and to tell other people about this book. It’s the only book available anywhere written in owner language, not technical language, that covers all aspects of acquiring and owning and maintaining a traditional physical acoustic piano. And, it’s FREE! Right here on the internet!
Glendale AZ history reveals probably the most organized development since its beginning than all the other cities and villages of the Phoenix Valley. William John Murphy, a New Yorker with a true blood “Westward HO!” spirit, came to Arizona to build canals, agreed to be paid in land and stocks, developed an organized plan to recoup his debt by plotting his land west of Phoenix and giving it a glamorous name of “Glendale” to help it sell. Included with the 1891 plan was the creation of an 18-mile superhighway called “Grand Avenue” from Phoenix to Peoria. He also deeded land for the railway that parallels Grand Avenue today.
Glendale AZ is now a very big place, with about 225,000 inhabitants spread over about 60 square miles. Many Colleges and University Branches dot the landscape. Year round sports attractions bring huge business to the area. Then, don’t forget my Piano Tuning Workshop in the Glendale locale! Here are some stories about that:
lots of activity in my Glendale Workshop area!
